Hello World.

Hello. My name is Omari. I am an introvert who is really good at making things, and fascinated with how things are made. Welcome to my blog, and thanks for stopping by. This is my very first blog, so I am new, and glad to be here. I am looking forward to giving this my best shot.

I am starting this blog with the intention of sharing a few thoughts and ideas with the world, and hoping to connect with those of you out there who may find something that resonates within you.

I have always been a reserved, and very quiet person, but I have found that over the recent years, even before the pandemic, I have become even more reluctant to say much at all. Actually in another life, many moons ago, I used to be extremely politically aware. These days I am very purposeful and intentional in avoiding those interactions. I I often say the phrase, “Sam Bennett, and I ain’t in it.” It is not that I do not have opinions about the subject matter, it is more that I am not interested in the discourse, where there is such stark contrasting polarization.

I also understand that for some of us, we were anointed to leadership. Perhaps it is analogous to Superman wanting to remain in the Fortress of Solitude, where he could stay away from being constantly called to duty, often with little to no gratitude for his Herculean efforts. Perhaps it was Superman’s knowledge that he could not save the world from it’s own destruction, and therefore concluded that the constant plugging of the dykes in the dam would eventually prove fruitless. IN the end, he heeded the calls from the Universe to return to action. Perhaps he ultimately recognized that even his advanced mind was not designed to predict what cannot be predicted. The Universe has it’s own timetable.

Perhaps I too must get past my perception that society is rapidly spiraling down like the Devil’s Hole. Perhaps this blog is the start of my return to the preverbal battlefield.

I am not exactly sure what direction this blog will take, but I know for sure that I am called to move forward in this direction, and that writing is a major component of this next chapter.
